One of the biggest and most hyped products to be launched in 2010 was Mark Ling’s AffiloJetpack.
… Over a year later it is still going strong.
As you know, the internet is full of hyped up products that seem fantastic on the face of it, but once you buy them that you realize that you have just been suckered into buying yet another spam tool, a glorified PLR pack or yet another PDF tutorial series spouting the same information that you bought last time just packaged in a slightly different way!

See, like most of us in this industry, we are all about getting the best ‘bang for buck’ and finding ways to work smarter, not harder. As we made our way through the details we began to realize that AffiloJetpack is an amazing tool that would change the way we went about building our sites and spending our time, effort and money.
What AffiloJetpack will do for you;
For anyone new to this I’ll let you in on a secret. To build a quality website yourself takes time and knowledge – lots of it.
You have to have some technical know how to create your site. From choosing or creating headers, to deciding on fonts, headings, colors to uploading pictures and creating links. Some templates are easy to work with, some are darn difficult and some just won’t do what you want until you learn a foreign language called CSS.
As a guideline, just getting our first site set up and ready for the content to be uploaded took us 2 weeks.
Then there are the articles that need to go on there – to be taken seriously, you need around 20-30 well written articles, so at roughly an article a day, there is another 3 weeks.
That’s 5 weeks just to get one website finished doing it manually.
But that’s really just the beginning, if you want to build that all important trust and relationship with your readers, you need to have them receiving and opening your emails. So you need to create some sort of incentive to get them to give you their email address, usually by providing some sort of free eBook tutorial.
So now you have to create an eBook to give away, create a series of emails to send out to your list and once you have done all that you then have to start promoting your site to get visitors.
Honestly?
6 months work before you even get to the point where you are getting people to your site – and if you have chosen the wrong niche to get into or your email quality is not up to scratch you may have just wasted your time. No wonder so many people stop before they have even started!
You could outsource a lot of this – but what you save in time, you will definitely spend in money. A good quality 500 word article will cost you around $10-15. An eBook will cost around $200, getting someone to create you a theme can cost anywhere from $100 to $1000 and you still have to put it all together!

For those that are completely new, it may take you a week to get your first Affilojetpack site up and running, but after that you get to either spend the rest of the time promoting it or setting up your next site. For those that are more experienced then it is quite possible to have your five sites up and running in the course of a weekend.
What AffiloJetpack won’t do;
Now AffiloJetpack is a great tool that will save you hours of work and thousands in outsourcing, but it does have limitations. It will not do;
- Keyword research – the keywords that you choose to promote are entirely up to you. Fortunately you can get all the training that you need in this through the free Affilorama site.
- SEO – AJ sites are not automatically Search Engine Optimised, again, if you want to promote your site using SEO, then there are fabulous tutorials on Affilorama that will take you through this.
- Article Spinning – If you are worried about duplicate content, then you will have to spin the articles for your site yourself or outsource this part – the emails that you send out will be fine as is although you can always put your own personality into them if you want.
The important thing to remember is that AffiloJetpack is a very sophisticated, valuable and some would say revolutionary internet marketing tool. But that’s all it is, a tool.
It is not a magic bullet, you will not be magically transformed from your current lifestyle to multi millionaire overnight and it does take some effort to make it work. But because all the hard stuff is done for you, using AffiloJetpack will greatly increase your chances of making a decent living online.
