EDIT 2011: This course is fantastic for anyone who does not know how to set up their site, research their market or do PPC for their own product. - Week 5: This week we look at SEO fundamentals and getting those product reviews right
- Week 6: Off- page SEO, Link Building for Beginners – EDIT – this needs reviewing in light of recent changes
- Week 7: Newsletters, adding opt-in pages, creating newsletters, creating redirects
- Week 8: Advanced back linking and Web 2.0
- Week 9: Advanced web tweaking, tidying, analytics, popovers, siloing, troubleshooting.
- Week 10: Pay Per Click One – introduction, keyword research, setting up adwords account and starting a new campaign. EDIT: This section also needs reviewing for those sites being used as affiliate marketing campaigns.
- Week 11: Pay Per Click Two – landing page creation, ad writing – this one is really comprehensive!
- Week 12: Pay Per Click Three; conversion tracking, split testing, bidding, content network, other networks, advanced strategies.
